So that's me. And in my hot little hands? The book. The first actual, real life, oh-my-gosh-I'm-published-IN-A-BOOK-book.
I'm excited in the picture, even though that translates into me looking scarily demented. Then again, El Nino was the one taking the pictures - maybe that had something to do with it.
Or maybe I just end up looking demented when I'm excited. Which is probably closer to the truth, darn it.
And sometime in the next few weeks, the second book I'm in (Manual for Motherhood) should be arriving, as well as Motherverse Issue #8. And probably a few rejections will be interspersed throughout, too. But that's okay.
Because something I wrote is in a book! That gives a girl a butt-ton (actual measurement) of confidence.
